Biolab Participates in IAA’s Careers Day     As a further step in its support of educational activities in the Kingdom, Biolab Medical Laboratory Group – the exclusive agent in Jordan for Biomnis, a leading French laboratory group – recently participated in the careers day held at the International Amman Academy School (IAA) for students between ninth and eleventh grade.

Dr. Amid Abdel Nour, CEO of Biolab, highlighted that this participation came as part of Biolab’s ensurance to actively participate in guiding students in their choice of specialties and academic paths best suitable to their preferences and abilities. Significantly, that of which will guarantee a future of excellence in the students’ academic courses and career.

“We hold the responsibility of supporting youth in particularly students through participating in their academic guidance process, which in turn contributes to elevate the intellectual market through fulfilling the required scientific competencies, thereby reducing the unemployment rate among young graduates while supporting them professionally, economically and socially,” added Dr. Abdel Nour.

Biolab’s participation in the careers day consisted of providing an overview on the laboratories sector, health care and services provided within it, in addition to introducing the nature of job opportunities in the active sector.

Additionally, all the enquiries raised by the students during the careers day were immediately answered, as well as provided further with educational material and publications on the latest advanced medical services and testing at Biolab.

Notably, the careers day featured a wide range of local companies and institutions of around 30, in addition to numerous local individuals to discuss their nature of work and its importance in building the community with the students.
