Biolab to train six students under LoYAC’s DARB summer internship program   Biolab — the sole Biomnis dealer in the Kingdom — recently announced its support of the DARB summer internship program organized by the non-profit organization LoYAC Jordan.

Biolab's contribution will come in the form of hosting and training six of the program's beneficiaries on essential lab and medical services, thereby preparing them for the ever-competitive job market.

DARB is a national program that serves students from various governorates nationwide by allowing them to reinforce their practical skills through a plethora of training opportunities at the Kingdom's leading organizations.

The program's scope has been significantly expanded in 2012 in cooperation with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, allowing for the participation of around 1500 students.

"At Biolab, we appreciate the importance of practical training as a pathway to gaining field experience prior to entering the job market," commented Mrs. Reem El-Saqqa, Administrative Manager of Biolab.

"Training allows potential employees to form a basic understanding of the challenges that accompany routine lab work, which is a key element in quality management within this rapidly evolving environment.

We therefore found it prudent to support the efforts of LoYAC Jordan, which seeks to narrow the gap between theory practice and deliver competent individuals to the local workforce."   Biolab is a pioneer in applying advances in medicine and science to laboratory testing, providing a broad range of medical diagnostic services to individuals, physicians, hospitals and other laboratories, in addition to offering a wide array of medical, scientific and consultancy services in the fields of health and diagnostics.

Leveraging on cutting-edge technology, high caliber staff and an extensive HMO and bank affiliate network, Biolab offers its patients an unparalleled premium experience, prioritizing reliability, accountability and convenience.     In 2011, DARB was able to secure 500 training opportunities for students in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Ma'an.
